KAWAK AVIATION TECHNOLOGIES auxiliary
hydraulic system for the Air Tractor 802 is designed
to give you a reliable power source for operation
of the chemical pump, boom valve, and air conditioning
compressor.
This system driving its 3X3 Agrinautics pump will
produce 300 GPM of water at 40 psi. Eliminating
the fan driven chemical pump reduces maintenance,
cleans up the air flow under the aircraft for
an improved spray pattern. The efficiency of the
air conditioning system is improved with the retrofit
to a new hydraulic driven compressor and operation
of the "Money Handle" is reduced to
a switch on the stick.
This system provides the ultimate means for
variable rate applications with instantaneous
response to rate changes producing the most accurate
application job available from the air. You make
no compromises with this system between its multi
capable features, high output, and optimized variable
rate interface.

HIGH PUMP DRIVE
Reduction gearbox using Kawak Aviation Technologies
proven design utilizes an available 25 HP drive
pad on the engine accessory gear case. Gearbox
features aerospace quality gearing, completely
self-contained lubrication system, and high
efficiency gear pump.
RESERVOIR
Sealed hydraulic reservoir with 5 psi precharge
eliminates the possibility of pump cavitation
under all flight conditions. Attached spin on
filter.
HYDRAULIC CONTROL MANIFOLD
Includes system relief, variable output controls,
air conditioning controls, and pressure transducer
for cockpit indicator. Easy access for maintenance
and diagnostics. Attached high capacity oil
cooler.
COCKPIT CONTROLS
Electronic cockpit control provides in flight
adjustment to the hydraulic system. Control
interfaces with constant flow and variable rate
devices for the ultimate in precision applications.
Digital display for hydraulic system pressure.
HYDRAULIC DRIVEN 3" AGRINAUTICS
PUMP AND BOOM VALVE
Chemical pump can be mounted on existing pedestal
or supplied as aft mounted system for clean
aerodynamics.
