KAWAK AVIATION TECHNOLOGIES developed its high performance hydraulic actuated boom valve in response to operator requests for a more reliable and functional boom valve.

By utilizing a valve with a long standing history of performance coupled with a simple hydraulic actuator, you get clean and crisp shifts every time. The valve also provides excellent suckback with a proven venturi design. The specially designed hydraulic actuator provides rapid and predictable shifts even when using powders that would render other valves inoperative.

Works equally well for both helicopter and fixed-wing applications particularly so on fixed-wing when it comes to eliminating elbow problems from years of the “Money Handle”.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND FEATURES:
HIGH QUALITY AGRINAUTICS BOOM VALVE
The most popular, reliable, and serviceable boom valve available. Adjustable suckback with strong recirculation characteristics.

MULITPLE CONFIGURATIONS AND PORTING OPTIONS
Available in LH and RH valves. A large selection of standard ports. Custom ports available to eliminate plumbing connections installation requirements.

HEAVY DUTY HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
Cylinder is rated for system pressures to 3000 psi. Stroke length is designed to bottom out cylinder rather than on stops of valve. Bore size will provide enough power to shift valve even at low hydraulic pressures. Rod seals are field serviceable.

FAIL SAFE CONTROL VALVE DESIGN
Control valve operation and hydraulic circuitry is set up so that power must be applied to open boom valve. Any interruption of electrical power automatically shuts booms off and returns valve to recirculation mode.

CONNECTS EASILY INTO EXISTING HYDRAUIC SYSTEM
Taps into pressure and return lines at chemical pump drive motor.
