KAWAK AVIATION TECHNOLOGIES K-Max
auxiliary hydraulic system is designed to give
you a versatile power source for operation of
attached or suspended implements requiring hydraulic
power.
The performance and dependability of the hydraulic
system can dramatically improve the productivity
of the aircraft for fire fighting and logging
operations. The 50 HP transmission driven system
provides responsive grapple operation and impressive
hover refill times on the Fire Max fire tank.
The system incorporates a modular design that
can be installed, maintained, or removed easily
and is certified for standard category operation.
The system was designed with the input of K-Max
operators and specifically tailored to meet their
requirements for an auxiliary power source.

Reduction gearbox using Kawak Aviation
Technologies proven design installs on the transmission
accessory drive. Gearbox features aerospace
quality gearing and completely self-contained
lubrication system.
HYDRAULIC PUMP
High efficiency gear pump with exceptional
durability and available in several sizes to
meet specific implement requirements.
RESERVOIR
Sealed reservoir contains sufficient
volume for charging of fire tank dump accumulators
or grapple operations. Low oil indicator installed
in reservoir. Attached spin on filter.
HYDRAULIC CONTROL MANIFOLD
Simple operation containing relief
and bypass circuits. Easy access for maintenance
and diagnostics.
COCKPIT CONTROLS
Digital pressure indicator, low oil and over
temp warning lights, and manual over ride switch.
Easy integration with other tank and grapple
controls.
