KAWAK AVIATION TECHNOLOGIES The
SA315B Auxiliary Hydraulic System was designed
to provide the highest output and most reliable
auxiliary power source available for the Lama.
The Kawak hydraulic system will increase the
performance and reliability of implements such
as your bucket, spray, or fire equipment over
electric or gas engine power sources. Field-tested
Kawak Systems hydraulic technology gives you
the confidence to know your aircraft will be ready
to work when you are. The hydraulic system output
is electronically controlled from the cockpit
for precise in-flight fingertip adjustment. The
system is FAA certified under FAR 27 and fully
disengages during other operations where auxiliary
power is not required.

COCKPIT ADJUSTABLE FLOW CONTROL
Kawak's electronic control gives you fingertip
adjustment from the cockpit for precise in-flight
adjustments. Adjustable 'ramp on/ramp off'
for smooth start and stop of the system. GPS
interface for automated flow control adjustments
proportionate to groundspeed variations.
SIMPLE HYDRAULIC PUMP DRIVE DESIGN
Easy removal of hydraulic pump for maintenance.
Bearing carrier assembly independ ent of hydraulic
pump.
Heavy duty bearing for longer clutch life.
SPECIAL HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR DESIGN
Boosts hydraulic pump inlet for cold oil startups,
eliminates cavitation for extended pump life.
Uses regulated air pressure from compressor
so precharge is automatic with engine start.
Unique internal baffling eliminates air ingestion
& pump cavitation during prolonged unusual
attitude maneuvers.
