Kawak Aviation Technologies has succeeded in designing a 28 volt snorkel pump that corrects all the performance and reliability issues of current OEM supplied snorkel pumps. SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND FEATURES:

HIGH OUTPUT AXIAL FLOW DESIGN
Computer modeled components optimized for maximum flow rates while using minimal power. Smooth laminar flow eliminates turbulence and power robbing frictional losses.

IMPELLER AND STATOR
Cast from 17-4 stainless alloy for maximum toughness and wear characteristics.

HEAVY DUTY BEARING HOUSING
Impeller is carried on separate shaft and bearing assembly for stability and not on electric motor bearings only. Modular design for ease of maintenance.

ELECTRIC MOTOR
Kawak Aviation Technologies' designed high torque electronically controlled brushless motor reduces heat build up, and eliminates loss of performance from brush wear. Motor control can be set to limit amperage draw between 100 and 180 amps depending on the electrical capacity of the aircraft. The pump directly interchanges with Simplex/Isolair units and requires no installation or modification of hardware onto the helicopter. The water tight design eliminates the single most common cause of leakage and failure in OEM motors. Motor case is directly submersed in water for maximum heat rejection.
